#953 Doves – The Last Broadcast

The Doves released their second studio album The Last Broadcast is 2002. I have heard one of their later albums, but this one is not familiar. Their debut album was great.

“Satellites” is probably my favourite song on the album. It is the sound of dream pop in my head. Other good songs are “There Goes the Fear”, “Words”, and “Pounding”.

Overall, I enjoyed the whole album. It has many genres that I usually enjoy, such as indie rock, post-Britpop, dream pop, and neo-psychedelia. The vocals and the music were infectious. I highly recommend for those who like great British music. I am scoring this the same as their debut album Lost Souls. 9.5/10.

…and i hate writing about myself. It feels awkward.
