#966 The White Stripes – Elephant

The White Stripes fourth studio album Elephant is considered by many their best work to date. I felt their previous album on the list was okay, but I am not a big fan or even a little one. At the 46th Grammy Awards in 2004 they were nominated for a few awards and won for Best Alternative Music Album.

I have heard one song on the album. Pause: I had the weirdest déjà vu while writing this line. I remember this situation but from a long time ago. It might have something to do with the song more than the band. Unpause. “Seven Nation Army” was popular even in Hungary.

Actually, the song mentioned above was the only song that I really liked. The album has the same problems as the previous one; I do not like Jack White’s voice. Once again, it is not a terrible album, but I do not feel it. 6/10.
