1030 – TV On The Radio – Dear Science

I think 2011 was around the time TV On The Radio came into my knowledge of them as a band. Oddly, I was certain they were Australians, but they are actually Americans. Their third album Dear Science was released in 2008. I recognize the title of the album, but I am not sure if I remember any of the songs.

The worst song was definitely “Dancing Choose”. The best songs were “Crying”, “Lover’s Day”, “Golden Age”, “Family Tree”, and “Love Dog”.

Overall, I am surprised this is the album that the critics loved. I preferred their fourth album Nine Types of Light. I am not saying that the album is terrible because it is not. I often hear Prince-like vocals in some of the songs, which tells me he influenced them. 8.5/10.
