This is Barry Adamson second time on the list of 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die. I enjoyed his first entry Moss Side Story. He released his third solo album Oedipus Schmoedipus in 1996.
Overall, this album did not move me. It felt too much like a soundtrack for a film. When I listen to music i need to be moved. I want to feel something. Unfortunately, the feelings were non-existent. It would be great if someone made a film for it. I cannot say the album is terrible, quite the contrary. It is actually okay, but it is not the type of music that I would listen while I am driving or dancing or cleaning. 6/10.
