Jane’s Addiction is a band I might have seen in concert, but it was with a more popular artist. Nothing’s Shocking is their first major-label studio album.
There are quite a lot of good songs on the album. I think listening to the whole album is worth it. Some of my favourites are “Ted, Just Admit It…“, “Ocean Size“, “Jane Says“, and “Pig’s in Zen“.
Actually it was not this band that I saw in concert it was Porno for Pyros. Both bands has two common members vocalist Perry Farrell and drummer Stephen Perkins. Dave Navarro joined Red Hot Chili Peppers and bass guitarist Eric Avery has played with many different bands and artists.
As I stated above, listen to this album for yourself. It was a really good album filled with alternative metal and rock. I am surprised I forget about Jane’s Addiction. It seems that I forgot a lot of good music from the 80s. 8/10.
