Rage Against The Machine released their self-titled album of rap metal at the end of 1992. In the same time frame Whitney Houston released the soundtrack album of “The Bodyguard” so you can see why many of us missed the album Rage Against The Machine. The album is listed in many list as one of the greatest and Q magazine rated it in their 50 Heaviest Albums Of All Time.
I cannot believe i never listened to this album. It kicks into high gear with the first track “Bombtrack” and does not let go.
My favourite tracks were “Killing in the Name“, “Know Your Enemy” featuring Maynard James Keenan lead singer of Tool, and all the other songs on the album.
I am shocked that I never heard this album until now. I think it was great. It expresses how I felt in 1992 and how I feel in 2020. I still have a lot of anger and angst inside of me. I have a loneliness that nobody understands. I want it all to go away. This is the album for you if you understand what I mean. 10/10.
