#614 Fishbone – Truth And Soul

I know that I did not like Fishbone. I remember a friend listening to them. I found them to be sorry and a bit of a novelty. Their second album was Truth And Soul. They tried to do too many genres of music including punk, ska, reggae, soul, funk, and blues.

Personally, I did not like the vocals at all. It seems that several of the members did the vocals. I did not like the music either. The music was all over the place. It felty chaotic. They sound like a joke band. I really had hoped to find some better albums in 1988, especially after 1987 was pretty bad, except for a few gems. The book of 1001 Albums… really picked out some terrible albums for the 80s. 2/10.

…and i hate writing about myself. It feels awkward.
